Sky Odyssey is a half arcade, half flight sim game. Missions could be to just land or to refuel off of a train. Missions quickly get repetitive, but each required real life flying skills. To help the game go by, there is a great musical score. The game adds a new feature not seen in others of its kind, weather. This means that wind, rain, or even snow will effect the way you fly. Along with all that, Sky Odyssey runs on a very smooth frame rate.

Besides missions, Sky Odyssey has other fun modes you can play. In the mode Sky Target, you maneuver through rings in the sky to test how well you can actually fly. In Sky Canvas you see how well you can write on the sky with smoke.

Sky Odyssey is a good sim but doesn't push what the PS2 is capable of. This game could have appeared on the PSone with similar atmosphere. Levels quickly get repetitive. If you are in for a good flight sim, check this out, other wise, keep waiting.
