When the Infogrames logo appears, quickly press Up, Down, Circle + Triangle. If the code was entered in correctly, the phrase "Lock Off" will appear. Then the arcade medium and hard tracks may be selected. For the European/Australian PAL version, press Up, Down, Triangle, Circle, Up, Down, Triangle + Circle when the Infogrames logo appears.

Narrow tracks

When the Infogrames logo appears, hold Left + L2 until the Infogrames logo disappears. If the code was entered in correctly, a message will appear. Then, eighteen narrow tracks may be selected. These tracks are normally earned by completing the arcade hard course on the Ace difficulty level.

Infinite time

When the Infogrames logo appears, hold Left + L1 until the Infogrames logo disappears. If the code was entered in correctly, a message will appear. Then the race will continue in arcade mode even if the checkpoints are not crossed before time expires.

Infinite time and narrow tracks

When the Infogrames logo appears, hold L1 until the Infogrames logo disappears. If the code was entered in correctly, a message will appear.

Jeep and rollercoaster track (PAL version)

When the Infogrames logo appears, hold Left + R1 until the Infogrames logo disappears. If the code was entered in correctly, a message will appear. Then, a small Jeep will replace the Peugeot 106 Maxi and a rollercoaster track will replace Sweden track 1.

Restart race

When the Infogrames logo appears, hold Left + R2 until the Infogrames logo disappears. If the code was entered in correctly, a message will appear. This allows an arcade mode race to be restarted.

Debug mode

When the Infogrames logo appears, press Left, Right. Game debug information will be displayed. If the code was entered in correctly, a message will appear. Then, press Start to access a "Memory" option that displays more information.

All cheats

When the Infogrames logo appears, hold Left + R1 + R2 + L1 + L2 until the Infogrames logo disappears. If the code was entered in correctly, a message will appear.
