MLB 2001

Many people were dying for the release of this game. Why? Every year, the MLB series and the Triple Play series battle it out for title of the best baseball game ever made. It is a paradox, so, will MLB win?...

Graphics

Very good graphics. Everything looks realistic and no "still" shadows.

Game Play

The controls, which are very responsive and the great camera angles provided make this game very fun to play. When playing the game, the pitchers pick where to place the pitch and the batter guesses where the ball will go. If he guesses correctly, there will be extra power added to the hit.

So, which game is better you ask? Sorry Sony, T.P. wins this year. But hey, MLB 2001 is still a very good game that I recommend highly. Triple Play just looks better and has better graphics. Even though MLB has the best statistics, Triple Play is just better, sorry.

Sound

Very good commentary. It lacks the repetition that haunts others and is very smooth during plays. Even so, Triple Play's is better.

I personally like Triple Play better, but this is still a great game the should not be missed.
