"The Bouncer is a short and plain game that is extremely boring"

The Bouncer is clearly one of the most anticipated early-release games for the PS2. How could a game that was though to be great tern out so much worse?

The astonishing graphics and incredible detail are fascinating. The three main characters have some of the most detail we have yet seen. Along with that, each characters has a fighting style of their own. If Square did this good on the graphics and character presentation, the game play must be great!

To be blunt, no. The Bouncer is a short and plain game that is extremely boring. There are no weapons present and it takes no skill to beat the game. You will find yourself downgrading your gaming style to merely button mashing. The poor AI makes it even worse, to the fact that you can't stand. You can easily complete this game in an hour and a half. If that wasn't bad enough, half of that time is just FMVs.

While The Bouncer has great graphics, it just can't make up for the poor game play.
