I played this game on the PSone and it was rather good. It ran smoothly and had good graphics. So, what the heck did they do with the PS2 version! It sucks!

    NASCAR 2001 has horrible graphics. The game looks like one of the PSone except still having bad graphics. It lacks anti-aliasing which means the edges are very jagged. Check out the cockpit view to see how bad it actually gets. The frame rate is choppy and skips frequently. Controls are also horrible. You car will slowly drift off the track by itself. Even on a straight away.

    After playing the game, I have decided that it is more fun to ram cars then to actually race. Get the game on PSone, skip it on the PS2.
